This event is timed entry, with gates open at 2:00pm. There will be re-entry permitted, though everything you need is on the Plaza.

Boston Rodeo is held at City Hall, 1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA 02203 and is best accessed via the MBTA.
The entry gate is located off Congress street, facing the North End.
The MBTA Green line goes directly to the plaza via Government Center Station. Those taking the commuter rail can easily transfer from both South Station and North Station, with North station offering direct Green Line access.

There are no age restrictions to this event. Those who are 21+ will have their ID checked and given a wristband to purchase alcohol.
Those 5 and under are admitted free in GA areas.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except in the limited cases outlined below.
Event Cancellation or Postponement
If an event is:
Canceled: You will be offered a full refund to your original payment method or the option to donate your ticket to support our nonprofit mission.
Postponed or Rescheduled: Your ticket will automatically transfer to the new date. If you cannot attend, you may request a refund within 14 days of the reschedule notice.
Weather-Related Events
Outdoor events will proceed rain or shine, unless safety concerns arise (such as severe weather warnings). In the rare case of a weather-related cancellation:
We will notify all ticket holders by email and social media.
You may receive a refund or credit, depending on event costs and rescheduling options.
Support the Mission
As a nonprofit organization, ticket revenue directly supports our efforts to connect communities and elevate high-impact local organizations. If you are unable to attend, you may choose to convert your ticket into a tax-deductible donation to The Local Maximum or directly to the partnering organizations. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, the following items are not permitted inside the event grounds:
Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, pepper spray, or any item that could be used to inflict harm
Alcohol, illegal drugs, or drug paraphernalia
Glass containers, metal cans, or hard-sided coolers
Large bags or backpacks (larger than 12”x6”x12”); all bags are subject to search
Outside food or beverages (exceptions made for medical needs or infant care with proper documentation)
Professional cameras, including those with detachable lenses, GoPros, drones, tripods, or selfie sticks
Audio or video recording devices
Laser pointers, fireworks, or explosives
Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, or hoverboards
Umbrellas, tents, or shade structures
Animals, except ADA-recognized service animals
Flyers, posters, or marketing materials unless pre-approved
All guests are subject to search upon entry. Prohibited items discovered during security checks must be returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded; they will not be held or stored.
We reserve the right to amend this list at any time and to refuse entry to any item or person deemed a safety risk.

Health and safety are critical to the Rodeo. We work hand in hand with Boston Police, Boston Fire Department, City administrators, and public safety agencies to ensure the safety of everyone.
You will notice safety measures being carried out by our security team upon your arrival such as ID checks, bag checks, and walk-through metal detectors (magnetometers, open gates or evolve systems) for all attendees, staff, and performers.Please note that we will be implementing these safety screenings upon festival entry. Thus, it is recommended to arrive early and note the Prohibited Items list to prevent any delays.
Prohibited items will be refused upon entry and must be returned to the patron’s vehicle or disposed of by the patron.In the event of an emergency, information may be relayed on the over the audio and video system.
If you, or a friend, require medical assistance please locate your nearest medical tent or alert a staff member, officer, or EMS.
And finally, if you see something, speak up. Flag down any staff member or safety official if you notice something that doesn’t seem quite right. -
Effective: 07/04/25 Please read these Festival Ticket Terms ("Terms" or "Agreement") carefully, as they affect your future legal rights. These Terms apply to the event or festival described on this website (the "Event").
1. Tickets & Agreement to Terms
All Event tickets, wristbands, passes, permissions, authorizations, and entry methods (physical or digital, whether for a patron or vehicle) are subject to these Terms.
By accepting possession, using any Ticket, or entering the Event, you (“User”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms. The original Authorized Purchaser and any Authorized Recipient must inform their guests of these Terms.
The Event producer, The Local Maximum, Inc. (“Producer”), may update these Terms at any time. Please check the Event website periodically for chang
2. Compliance with Laws & Venue Rules
The Event will comply with all applicable venue policies, public health, safety, and security protocols from local, state, and federal authorities. Requirements may change at any time and may include adjustments to capacity, entry procedures, or protective measures.
Failure to comply may result in denial of entry or removal without refund.
3. License & Revocation
Tickets are a revocable license to enter Event property. Violation of these Terms may result in revocation without refund.
4. Unauthorized Transfers Prohibited
• Tickets purchased publicly are for the original Authorized Purchaser and their invited guest(s) only.
• Tickets are non-transferable except as allowed by Producer or Posh ticketing policies.
• Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be invalid.
• Resale or attempted resale may result in cancellation.
• Tickets may not be used for commercial purposes (promotions, giveaways, advertising, etc.) without written consent.
5. Use of Image & Likeness
By attending, you grant Producer and its designees the right to record, photograph, and use your image, voice, likeness, and statements in any medium for any purpose, without additional consent.
6. Event Intellectual Property
Producer owns all trademarks, imagery, names, and trade dress associated with the Event. Use without written permission is prohibited.
7. No Live Streaming or Broadcasting
No live audio or video streaming from the Event is permitted without prior written consent from Producer.
8. Photography, Video & Equipment
• Allowed: Personal, non-commercial devices (cell phones, small cameras without detachable lenses).
• Not Allowed Without Permission: Professional cameras, GoPros, drones, selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, boom arms, or any device that could interfere with safety or guest enjoyment.
• No Commercial Use: Personal content may not be used for commercial purposes without Producer approval.
9. Copyright Assignment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you assign to Producer exclusive ownership of personal content created at the Event.
Producer grants you a limited right to use such content for direct, non-commercial purposes (e.g., personal social media).
10. Artists, Rodeo Acts & Schedule Changes
Performers, rodeo acts, and schedules are subject to change without notice.
11. Rodeo-Specific Risk Acknowledgment
Rodeo events involve live animals, livestock, and activities with inherent risks, including serious injury or death. Risks may include:
• Proximity to livestock
• Dust and debris
• Loud noises
• Sudden animal movements
• Potential contact with animals
By attending, you voluntarily assume all such risks.
12. Medical Conse
You consent to receive any medical treatment deemed advisable in case of injury, illness, or accident, and release all related parties from liability.
13. Searches, Refusal & Ejection
You, your vehicle, and your belongings may be searched upon entry. Refusal to consent may result in denial of entry.
Producer may remove any person for disorderly conduct or failure to comply with Event rules.

15. Assumption of Risk, Waiver & Limitation of Liability
Attending the Event carries inherent risks, including illness (e.g., COVID-19), personal injury, property damage, and death.
You release and agree not to sue The Local Maximum, Inc., its affiliates, contractors, performers, vendors, and venue operators (“Releasees”) from all claims, including those caused by negligence.
Releasees are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages to the fullest extent allowed by law.
16. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
Except where prohibited by law, all disputes will be resolved through binding individual arbitration in Massachusetts under the FAA and AAA rules.

17. Injunctive Relief
Any breach of these Terms may cause irreparable harm to Producer, entitling Producer to injunctive relief.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
19. Other Restrictions
No onsite marketing, sampling, vending, coupon distribution, or promotional activity without written approval from Producer.
Posh ticketing terms, privacy policy, and Event website terms are incorporated by reference. In case of conflict, these Ticket Terms control.
