Boston Rodeo is coming to Boston's Seaport, at 302 Northern Ave, Boston, MA, 02210

The event includes professional rodeo competition and two days of live music. Gates open at 4 PM and guests may arrive any time after that. The rodeo begins at 6:30 PM, and the event ends by 10:30 PM. There is no re-entry once you leave the festival grounds. Before you buy tickets, please read through the details below. We've covered gate times, bag policy, and other logistics so you know what to expect when you arrive.

General

  • Gates open at 4 PM. The rodeo begins at 6:30 PM, and the event ends by 10:30 PM. Once you leave the festival grounds, there is no re-entry!

  • There are no age restrictions to this event. Those who are 21+ will have their ID checked and given a wristband to purchase alcohol.

    Those 5 and under are admitted free in GA areas.

  • All ticket sales are final and non-refundable, except in the limited cases outlined below.

    Event Cancellation or Postponement

    If an event is:

    • Canceled: You will be offered a full refund to your original payment method or the option to donate your ticket to support our nonprofit mission.

    • Postponed or Rescheduled: Your ticket will automatically transfer to the new date. If you cannot attend, you may request a refund within 14 days of the reschedule notice.

    Weather-Related Events

    Outdoor events will proceed rain or shine, unless safety concerns arise (such as severe weather warnings). In the rare case of a weather-related cancellation:

    • We will notify all ticket holders by email and social media.

    • You may receive a refund or credit, depending on event costs and rescheduling options.

  • To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, the following items are not permitted inside the event grounds:

    • Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, pepper spray, or any item that could be used to inflict harm

    • Alcohol, illegal drugs, or drug paraphernalia

    • Glass containers, metal cans, or hard-sided coolers

    • Large bags or backpacks (larger than 12”x6”x12”); all bags are subject to search

    • Outside food or beverages (exceptions made for medical needs or infant care with proper documentation)

    • Professional cameras, including those with detachable lenses, GoPros, drones, tripods, or selfie sticks

    • Audio or video recording devices

    • Laser pointers, fireworks, or explosives

    • Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, or hoverboards

    • Umbrellas, tents, or shade structures

    • Animals, except ADA-recognized service animals

    • Flyers, posters, or marketing materials unless pre-approved

    All guests are subject to search upon entry. Prohibited items discovered during security checks must be returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded; they will not be held or stored.

    We reserve the right to amend this list at any time and to refuse entry to any item or person deemed a safety risk.

  • General Admission includes entry to the rodeo, the music lineup, and the festival grounds. GA+ Reserved includes all of that plus a reserved bleacher seat.

  • Yes, Boston Rodeo takes place rain or shine. See the refund policy below for what happens if weather causes a delay, a shortened event, or a cancellation.

  • There is no age limit to attend. Children 5 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult.

  • No. Re-entry is not permitted. Once you exit the festival grounds, you will not be readmitted that day, so please plan accordingly. Food, drinks, and other amenities are available inside the festival grounds.

  • Boston Rodeo is a cashless event. All major credit cards are accepted.

  • Yes. For ADA accommodations, email guests@rodeo-star.com ahead of the event and allow 14 days for reasonable accommodations to be met.

  • ADA service animals are permitted. No other animals are allowed, including emotional support animals.

Ticketing

  • Tickets are available only at posh.vip. This is the only authorized ticket seller for Boston Rodeo.

  • Tickets are delivered by email and in the posh.vip app.

  • No. posh.vip is the only authorized seller for Boston Rodeo. Tickets purchased anywhere else, including resale sites, social media, or third-party sellers, cannot be verified or replaced and will not be honored at the gate. Please purchase only through posh.vip.

  • Email info@bostonrodeo.com. On event day, visit the box office to get everything sorted.

  • Email info@bostonrodeo.com to upgrade your ticket or on event day, stop by the box office.

Bags and Prohibited Items

  • You may bring a small bag if needed, a valid ID, and a phone or point-and-shoot camera. Bringing only what you need will help you move through the gate more quickly.

  • Bags must be smaller than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Coolers and hard-sided bags are not allowed. Medical bags and diaper bags are permitted, subject to inspection. All guests and bags are subject to search at the gate.

  • The following items are not allowed: weapons, illegal drugs, glass, cans, coolers, and outside food or drink (exceptions apply for medical needs and infants). Also not allowed: professional cameras, GoPros, drones, tripods, selfie sticks, recording devices, lasers, fireworks, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, umbrellas, tents, animals other than ADA service animals, and unapproved flyers. Prohibited items will not be held or stored at the gate, so please leave them at home.

  • Phone cameras and basic point-and-shoot cameras are permitted. Professional cameras, GoPros, and drones are not allowed.
